Ayutha Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Ayutha ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of the App

Ayutha is an Android app by oodhwe (www.oodhwe.in) that provides tools for working with PDF, image and audio files, such as splitting, merging, converting, compressing and trimming. Files are processed on your device. No account is required. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Licence to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4. Your Files and Responsibilities

• You keep all rights in the files you process. We do not receive, access or claim any rights to them.
• You are responsible for having the right to use, modify and convert the files you select.
• Tools that remove or add passwords must only be used on files you own or are authorised to access. Do not use the app to bypass protection on files that belong to others.
• Processed files are saved as new files and existing files are not overwritten, but you should keep backups of anything important. Outputs may differ from the originals (for example, image tools re-encode files and drop metadata).
• You are responsible for keeping your device and the saved files secure.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone's rights;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except as permitted by law or by an open-source licence; or
• interfere with or attempt to disrupt the app or its distribution.

6. Permissions

The app asks for storage ("All files access") permission so it can save the files it creates. You can decline or revoke it in your device settings, but some tools will then be unable to save files.

7. Intellectual Property and Open Source

The Ayutha name, logo, design and software are owned by oodhwe and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The app includes open-source components that are governed by their own licences.

8. Updates and Availability

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app at any time. We do not guarantee that every file will be processed successfully; files that are corrupt, very large, password-protected or in unsupported formats may be rejected.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that processed files will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the app at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, oodhwe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or files, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
