EcoSpark Diwali ("the app") is an Android app that lets you light virtual Diwali crackers on your phone. It is built by oodhwe ("we", "our", "us", www.oodhwe.in). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. Questions? Contact us at support@oodhwe.in.
The app saves the following on your device only: the optional name you enter (used in greetings), your sparks and unlocked items, your daily challenge progress, your settings (sound, vibration, reduce motion, theme), the mini-shows you record, and any photos you choose as a sky theme. This data is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
If you choose a photo as your sky theme, the app asks the system photo picker for that single image and copies a resized version into its private storage. It does not browse your gallery. If you include a photo in a shared greeting, a small copy is embedded in the HTML file you create. You decide where that file goes.
When you share a show, the app creates an HTML file on your device and hands it to the Android share sheet. The file contains your show, your name and the greeting you typed. We never receive it. Whoever you send it to can see that content.
The app does not access your contacts, location, microphone, messages or files. It uses the system picker only when you choose to add a photo.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we do not share it with third parties.
Links in the app (such as this policy and the Terms of Service) open in your browser, and those sites are governed by their own policies. The app uses open-source libraries that run on your device and do not send your data anywhere. Google Play may collect its own information when you install the app, under Google's privacy policy.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and requires no account or personal details. The name field is optional and stays on the device.
We may update this policy from time to time. If the app's data practices change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
