BLDC Remote ("the app") is an Android app that uses your phone's infrared blaster to control BLDC ceiling fans. It is built by oodhwe ("we", "our", "us", www.oodhwe.in). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. Questions? Contact us at support@oodhwe.in.
The app saves the following on your device only: the fans you add (brand, nickname and last-sent state such as speed, on/off, light), and your settings (vibration, "Sent" message, theme). This data is used to show your remotes and home-screen widgets. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
The app does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files or messages.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we do not share it with third parties.
Links in the app (such as this policy and the Terms of Service) open in your browser or email app, and those sites are governed by their own policies. The app uses open-source libraries that run on your device and do not send your data anywhere. Google Play may collect its own information when you install the app, under Google's privacy policy.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and requires no account or personal details.
We may update this policy from time to time. If the app's data practices change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
