By installing or using BLDC Remote ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The app lets you control compatible BLDC ceiling fans using your phone's infrared blaster. It requires a phone with IR hardware and a fan that accepts the supported IR codes. Compatibility with every fan model is not guaranteed.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for controlling fans you own or are authorised to control. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law or an open-source licence allows it, and not to use it to interfere with devices belonging to others without their permission.
Infrared is one-way. The speed, power and light state shown in the app is the last command sent and may differ from the fan's actual state, for example if the original remote or wall switch was used.
Brand names such as Atomberg, Activa, Bajaj, Super, Kuhl and Orient belong to their respective owners. The app is an independent product of oodhwe and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any fan manufacturer.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, oodhwe is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any damage to your fan or other property, arising from use of the app. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical control.
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
